MORE LIFE

EARLY-STAGE PROJECT FRANKFURT RHEIN-MAIN · 50+

A place to take part.
Something to contribute.

An idea for helping adults 50+ find local activities, meet people and put their experience to use.

Born from a founder’s own experience of starting a business after 50 and living abroad, MORE LIFE is an early-stage idea for local discovery in Frankfurt Rhein-Main.

WHAT WE WANT TO EXPLORE

Learn something.Meet someone.Share what you know.
Starting locally.
Learning from people.

A vision for the service, not a live product.

01 / THE OPPORTUNITY

A whole region to explore.
Too many places to look.

Local events and groups are spread across calendars, club websites, community noticeboards and social media. Finding the information in time can be difficult, especially when you’re unfamiliar with the area.

And finding a listing is only the first step. You may still wonder what the activity is like, whether newcomers are welcome and how to get involved.

We want to explore whether clearer information and suggestions based on your interests, budget and travel preferences can make it easier to take that first step.

WHY I’M EXPLORING THIS

I wanted to solve
a problem I knew myself.

Claire Lee
Founder · MORE LIFE / Kpopfuture

I started a business after turning 50. Living in Germany as a foreign resident, I’ve also found it difficult to keep up with local information, find interesting things to do and find my way into a community.

Information may be available, but knowing where to look — and where you might feel comfortable joining in — is another matter.

That’s where MORE LIFE began. I wanted to explore a way to make these first steps easier for myself and for other people facing similar difficulties.

I also want to understand how people over 50 use AI. Does it mostly help them search for information, or can it help them investigate an idea and take the next step? I don’t have that answer yet. That is something I want to research, rather than assume.

People bring years of work, family and community experience with them. I’d like to explore ways to put that experience to use locally — through mentoring, sharing knowledge, volunteering or working on a small project together.

I’m still at the beginning. Before building more, I want to talk with people about what they would enjoy contributing, what they need help with and what makes it difficult to get involved.

02 / FIVE WAYS TO FIND MORE

Find something to enjoy.
Find a way to contribute.

Five areas to explore in our research.
Participation can mean learning, sharing or simply joining in.

01

DISCOVER

Explore your area.

Culture, exhibitions, local talks and new places to explore.

02

MOVE

Be active.

Walking groups, dancing and activities suited to your preferred pace.

03

RELAX

Take a break.

Quiet outings, time in nature and everyday wellbeing activities.

04

CONNECT

Meet people.

Interest-based meetups, community gatherings and conversation.

05

DO

Learn and contribute.

Workshops, knowledge sharing, mentoring, volunteering and small community projects.

These are activity categories we plan to explore, not currently available listings.

03 / HOW IT COULD WORK

A possible starting point.

1

Tell us what matters.

Share your interests, approximate area, budget and travel preferences. If you want to contribute, describe the skills or experience you’d like to share.

2

Explore a focused selection.

Explore activities and opportunities to take part, with clear summaries and reasons they may fit your interests or experience.

3

Choose your next step.

Check the original organiser’s details, then decide whether to attend or learn more. Your feedback could help improve future suggestions.

Proposed experience. Personalisation and feedback features have not been built or launched.

04 / AI WITH A CLEAR PURPOSE

Could AI help with
the next step?

We want to test whether Claude could help people investigate local opportunities more thoroughly and turn an interest into a practical next step. We also plan to use it to support prototype development.

AI-generated suggestions would need source links and checks. Event details, availability and suitability should be confirmed with the organiser.

01

Organise local information

Summarise and categorise information from permitted public sources into consistent activity descriptions.

02

Connect experience with opportunities

Help people describe their interests and experience, then investigate relevant local activities, knowledge-sharing opportunities or ways to volunteer. Suggestions would explain the connection and link to sources.

03

Help people prepare to join in

Explore plain-language and multilingual summaries, questions to ask an organiser and simple next-step plans. These could help people decide whether an opportunity is right for them.

04

Build, test and learn

Support prototype development, prepare content review workflows and help analyse voluntary pilot feedback.

05 / STARTING CLOSE TO HOME

Frankfurt first.
Rhein-Main in view.

The proposed pilot would focus on adults 50+ in Frankfurt and nearby communities in the Rhein-Main region. A local starting point would help us test the quality of information and understand what people actually find useful.

06 / A PLAN TO LEARN

Listen first.
Then decide what to build.

Three proposed stages.
Progress depends on what we learn.

  1. CURRENT FOCUS

    01 Research & define

Interview adults 50+ about local participation, how they use AI and the experience they might want to share. Ask about barriers, including those faced by foreign residents. Review local information sources.

  2. PLANNED

    02 Build a prototype

Use the research to choose a narrow first use case. Test source-linked discovery and whether AI can help someone investigate an opportunity or prepare to take part.

  3. PLANNED

    03 Explore a local pilot

Invite a small voluntary test group. Review information accuracy, whether people find a useful next step and whether opportunities make good use of their experience. Decide what needs to change.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY

An idea being explored.
A clear starting point.

MORE LIFE is a new project being explored by Kpopfuture, an existing German e-commerce business established in 2024.

The project is at an early research and concept stage. There is no launched service, active user base or confirmed partner network. The features on this page describe our intended direction, not current product capabilities.

This page presents the project for discussion and support applications. It does not imply acceptance into any startup programme or confirm eligibility.

LET’S START A CONVERSATION

What would you like to do?
What could you share?

If you’re over 50, what makes it difficult to get involved locally?
And is there something you’ve learned that you’d like to pass on? I’d like to hear your perspective.
